When customers connect with TeleBanc from any touch tone phone, they are guided step by step through a menu of options by an automated voice system.

  • Types of Activities – TeleBanc customers can make inquiries about their account(s) and perform many financial transactions by simply using a touch tone telephone, including account inquiry, funds transfer, loan payments, and much more.
     
  • Activity Controls – The TeleBanc "script" is dynamically modified to only play menu selections allowed by application and classification of the accounts the customer owns.
     
  • Customer Access Options – Customers can access TeleBanc using their portfolio number, an application account number, or an existing debit card number. Electronic banking passwords are established at the account level to further control access.
     
  • Security – TeleBanc employs a stringent set of security control techniques. A dedicated communication controller serves as a check point between customers and confidential financial records, prohibiting unauthorized access. Incoming messages are subject to explicit filtering by the communications controller and must meet specific requirements. When customers access TeleBanc, valid access codes and passwords must be entered before account information and functions are available.
     
  • Products and Rates – TeleBanc provides an excellent vehicle to acquaint both current and prospective customers with information on new and existing products, bank services, and current rates.
     
  • Service Fee Revenue – Fees can be assessed automatically for all types of TeleBanc activity, including account and check inquiries, transcripts, transfers, loan payments, bill payments and loan advances. Service Charge Plans are established and can be customized through the Connect3 Administrator.
     
  • Detailed Transaction Descriptions – Detailed descriptions of transactions makes it easy for customers to use and understand TeleBanc information.
